The Yoke Of Christ

There are 7 main and particular gifts of Christ to Believers.
They are:

1. Rest
2. Keys of the Kingdom
3. Power over evil spirits
4. Living Water
5. Bread of Heaven
6. Eternal Life
7. Legacy of Peace

I want to talk to you about coming into the “rest of the Lord.”
Hear what Jesus has to say in Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

If the Yoke of Christ is so easy, then why is Christianity sometimes so hard? Rest in the Lord, trust upon Him and you will believe in your hard time.

Hebrews 4 says that coming into the rest of the Lord is part of our believing!

Yoke according to Strong’s Greek is: “To be joined to, servitude, the beam of balances that connect the scales.”

These “balances” between you and your Spirit, are the difference between what we are and what the Lord is trying to make of us.

When we don’t “Come”, we grieve the Lord. As He said in
(Matthew 23:37) “O Jerusalem, you that kills the Prophets and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you would not!”

Sometimes we are so busy stoning one another and working up a sweat in other things, that we forget to come unto the Lord and find rest. Lay the rocks down, set those “things” aside and come unto Him. Let him gather you unto Himself.

Aren’t ya weary?

Psalms 23:2 and 116:7 “Return unto thy rest oh my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifullv with thee.”

Exodus 33:14 “My presence will go with you and I will give you rest.”

He who walked upon the water is walking with you today, take time to notice that! You ARE loved! It’s okay to take a minute, really.
